VENATOR recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full VENATOR magazine in Arc Raiders.
Across 5 shots the VENATOR climbs only around 180 px, roughly 36.0 px per round. That is holdable by hand, yet still enough to send the last bullets over a head at range.
On top of that comes 4 px of lateral drift — little enough to ignore. With the VENATOR, the vertical correction does nearly all of the work.
The VENATOR is bolt-action: one round per click, with 250 ms to cycle the bolt in between. Every shot kicks on its own — the correction has to land between shots.
The script is dosed accordingly: 5 stored steps, no overshooting. Strength plus the vertical and horizontal share can be trimmed in the NR app if your DPI or in-game sensitivity differ.
VENATOR — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the VENATOR?
Across 5 shots the VENATOR pulls around 180 px upwards — 36.0 px per round on average — plus 4 px of horizontal spread. That puts it at difficulty “Low” in our catalogue.
How does the script work with single shots?
The script compensates one round per click — up to 42 px of counter-movement. Click again quickly and the pattern continues shot by shot (“Recoil reset” setting in the NR app); after a pause it restarts at shot 1. 5 rounds are stored.
Is a script worth it with that little recoil?
That is exactly why: the VENATOR is tame at 180 px of total pull, and a clean compensation shows at range. The script keeps the second and third hit at the height of the first.
