M14 recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full M14 magazine in Arena Breakout: Infinite.
913 px of vertical travel across 20 shots: the M14 climbs hard. By round four or five the crosshair sits above the enemy's head, and the strongest single step measures 47 px.
Sideways almost nothing happens, the path stays on the vertical. Control the downward pull and you control the M14.
The M14 is semi-automatic: one round per click, at most every 171 ms (351 RPM). Click fast and the climb builds shot by shot — that's exactly where the correction comes in.
The script keeps a separate correction value for each of the 20 shots and clocks them at 171 ms — exactly the rhythm of the weapon. Strength, vertical and horizontal share are adjustable individually in the NR app.
M14 — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the M14?
Across 20 shots the M14 pulls around 913 px upwards, 45.7 px per round on average, and stays practically still sideways. That puts it at difficulty “Medium” in our catalogue.
How does the script work with single shots?
The script compensates one round per click — up to 47 px of counter-movement. Click again quickly and the pattern continues shot by shot (“Recoil reset” setting in the NR app); after a pause it restarts at shot 1. 20 rounds are stored.
Is the difference noticeable in a fight?
From the fifth round onwards, mostly. The first bullets of the M14 land by hand too; the 913 px that follow are what decides the duel.
