M16 recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full M16 magazine in Arena Breakout: Infinite.
885 px of vertical travel across 30 shots: the M16 climbs hard. By round four or five the crosshair sits above the enemy's head, and the strongest single step measures 30 px.
Sideways almost nothing happens, the path stays on the vertical. Control the downward pull and you control the M16.
The M16 only fires single shots or bursts — no full auto. Inside a burst there are 91 ms between rounds (659 RPM): the burst is out before a hand can pull down, and firing bursts back to back keeps building the climb.
The script keeps a separate correction value for each of the 30 shots and clocks them at 91 ms — exactly the rhythm of the weapon. Strength, vertical and horizontal share are adjustable individually in the NR app.
M16 — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the M16?
Across 30 shots the M16 pulls around 885 px upwards, 29.5 px per round on average, and stays practically still sideways. That puts it at difficulty “Medium” in our catalogue.
Does the script work with burst fire?
Yes. It stores the correction for all 30 rounds at 91 ms intervals. Keep the mouse button held through the burst; click again right away and the pattern continues where the recoil currently is (“Recoil reset” setting in the NR app). The download script compensates a full burst per click.
Is the difference noticeable in a fight?
From the fifth round onwards, mostly. The first bullets of the M16 land by hand too; the 885 px that follow are what decides the duel.
