M96 recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full M96 magazine in Arena Breakout: Infinite.
1,008 px of vertical travel across 30 shots: the M96 climbs hard. By round four or five the crosshair sits above the enemy's head, and the strongest single step measures 34 px.
Sideways almost nothing happens, the path stays on the vertical. Control the downward pull and you control the M96.
The M96 only fires single shots or bursts — no full auto. Inside a burst there are 150 ms between rounds (400 RPM): the burst is out before a hand can pull down, and firing bursts back to back keeps building the climb.
The script keeps a separate correction value for each of the 30 shots and clocks them at 150 ms — exactly the rhythm of the weapon. Strength, vertical and horizontal share are adjustable individually in the NR app.
M96 — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the M96?
Across 30 shots the M96 pulls around 1,008 px upwards, 33.6 px per round on average, and stays practically still sideways. That puts it at difficulty “Medium” in our catalogue.
Does the script work with burst fire?
Yes. It stores the correction for all 30 rounds at 150 ms intervals. Keep the mouse button held through the burst; click again right away and the pattern continues where the recoil currently is (“Recoil reset” setting in the NR app). The download script compensates a full burst per click.
Is the difference noticeable in a fight?
From the fifth round onwards, mostly. The first bullets of the M96 land by hand too; the 1,008 px that follow are what decides the duel.
