M4 recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full M4 magazine in Modern Warfare 4.
Over a full magazine the M4 pulls about 681 px upwards, 22.7 px per shot on average. The climb stays even — the kind of recoil a steady pull-down cancels out completely.
From the middle of the magazine the M4 wanders right: 9 px net across 9 px of total spread. At range the second half of the mag walks past a standing target even when your downward pull is perfect.
At 811 RPM there are only 74 ms between two bullets — 30 rounds are gone in 2.2 seconds. No hand corrects consciously in that window; the pattern has to run before your finger is back up.
The script keeps a separate correction value for each of the 30 shots and clocks them at 74 ms — exactly the rhythm of the weapon. Strength, vertical and horizontal share are adjustable individually in the NR app.
M4 — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the M4?
Across 30 shots the M4 pulls around 681 px upwards — 22.7 px per round on average — plus 9 px of horizontal spread. That puts it at difficulty “Medium” in our catalogue.
Does the script cover the whole magazine?
Yes. It stores 30 shots at 74 ms intervals (811 RPM), which is 2.2 seconds of full auto. Keep firing beyond that and the NR app holds the last correction value; releasing the button restarts the pattern at shot 1.
Is the difference noticeable in a fight?
From the fifth round onwards, mostly. The first bullets of the M4 land by hand too; the 681 px that follow are what decides the duel.
