M4A4 recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full M4A4 magazine in Counter-Strike 2.
991 px of vertical travel across 30 shots: the M4A4 climbs hard. By round four or five the crosshair sits above the enemy's head, and the strongest single step measures 50 px.
The path sways: 20 px of spread but barely any net drift — the M4A4 pulls to one side first and to the other afterwards. That pattern costs most players their shots, because you correct against a direction that flips moments later.
667 RPM means 90 ms per shot, so a full magazine lasts 2.7 seconds. Long enough to pull the correction deliberately — and long enough for every small error to add up by the last round.
The script keeps a separate correction value for each of the 30 shots and clocks them at 90 ms — exactly the rhythm of the weapon. Strength, vertical and horizontal share are adjustable individually in the NR app.
M4A4 — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the M4A4?
Across 30 shots the M4A4 pulls around 991 px upwards — 33.0 px per round on average — plus 20 px of horizontal spread. That puts it at difficulty “Medium” in our catalogue.
Does the script cover the whole magazine?
Yes. It stores 30 shots at 90 ms intervals (667 RPM), which is 2.7 seconds of full auto. Keep firing beyond that and the NR app holds the last correction value; releasing the button restarts the pattern at shot 1.
Is the difference noticeable in a fight?
From the fifth round onwards, mostly. The first bullets of the M4A4 land by hand too; the 991 px that follow are what decides the duel.
