SVD recoil
Every number below comes from the script you buy here — measured across a full SVD magazine in Wardogs.
Over a full magazine the SVD pulls about 435 px upwards, 43.5 px per shot on average. The climb stays even — the kind of recoil a steady pull-down cancels out completely.
Halfway through the magazine the SVD tips off to the left — 9 px net across 9 px of total spread. Most players instinctively pull against it and overcorrect, and that is where the bullets go missing.
480 RPM means 125 ms per shot, so a full magazine lasts 1.3 seconds. Long enough to pull the correction deliberately — and long enough for every small error to add up by the last round.
The script keeps a separate correction value for each of the 10 shots and clocks them at 125 ms — exactly the rhythm of the weapon. Strength, vertical and horizontal share are adjustable individually in the NR app.
SVD — frequently asked
How strong is the recoil of the SVD?
Across 10 shots the SVD pulls around 435 px upwards — 43.5 px per round on average — plus 9 px of horizontal spread. That puts it at difficulty “Medium” in our catalogue.
Does the script cover the whole magazine?
Yes. It stores 10 shots at 125 ms intervals (480 RPM), which is 1.3 seconds of full auto. Keep firing beyond that and the NR app holds the last correction value; releasing the button restarts the pattern at shot 1.
Is the difference noticeable in a fight?
From the fifth round onwards, mostly. The first bullets of the SVD land by hand too; the 435 px that follow are what decides the duel.
